Do you know that Mt. Sopris Rec. Riders negotiate the parking and access trailheads at both Marion and Sunlight with private landowners and pay a yearly lease fee at one area?
Do you know that Mt. Sopris Rec. Riders sends out a groomer several days a week to keep the S-P Trail System open?
Do you know that Mt. Sopris Rec. Riders is responsible for setting out, cleaning, supplying, and taking in for storage bathroom facilities (even though the bathrooms read ‘National Forest Property’)?
Do you know that Map Sponsors make the printing of the S-P Trail System map possible and club members coordinate and cooperate with two other clubs and three National Forests before these maps are printed each year?
